At Dreams Reading Center, we believe every learner deserves the tools and confidence to soar. Our mission is to support students, teachers, and families through personalized reading interventions, professional development, and literacy consulting grounded in research-based practices.

Whether your child is developing early literacy skills, navigating dyslexia, or striving to reach grade-level proficiency, we’re here to help make reading success a reality.

About Dr. Reams

I’m an experienced educator and dyslexia specialist with over two decades of work in literacy instruction, curriculum design, and educational coaching. My passion lies in empowering students, equipping teachers, and partnering with families to make meaningful academic progress.

I’ve seen firsthand how the right support can transform a student’s confidence — and how empowering teachers can uplift an entire classroom. My work is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.

Professional Experience

Currently, I serve as a Reading Specialist, Academic Coach, and Educational Consultant, working closely with:

Students

Providing individualized reading and writing interventions (grades K–12) designed to strengthen skills, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of learning. Provides comprehensive assessments to target specific defects in skills.

Teachers

Offering one-on-one and group coaching to implement structured literacy instruction, effective classroom strategies, and engaging lesson design.

Families

Guiding parents in understanding reading challenges, advocating for appropriate school accommodations, and supporting learning at home.
